Ivy Krislov, senior product manager lead of Xbox experiences, states, "We know the Xbox homepage is where our gamers spend the most time, and it's a space that's very personal," "We also know we can always be listening and learning how we can do better here while keeping your experience fast and familiar. So with that, we're kicking off a multi-month series of experiments to learn how to create a more personalized home screen experience and address some of the top trends and fan requests." Xbox Home UI   Microsoft has started testing the changes in the Xbox Home UI, which will arrive in 2023. The changes will be the tweaking layout design to make the apps and Xbox games easier to find and navigate the areas, like the interface in the settings. Before the launch of Xbox Home UI in 2023, Microsoft will conduct a host of Xbox Home experiments in the next few months. Alpha Skip-Ahead Ring, a subset of Xbox insiders, will get access to Xbox Home experiments this week. The initial updates include a "jump jack in" series at the top of the Xbox Home, which contains the classic games and apps. Unfortunately, the larger tiles for used games and apps are missing, and the interface is like the Xbox TV app. Xbox Home UI   The search function is at the top in the Xbox TV app with quick access to settings; Microsoft is bringing both of these functions to the Xbox Home console UI. Next to the "My Games and Apps" is a tile pinned to access the Microsoft store, and it is still on the Xbox Home screen. There are selected listings and suggestions based on the games you usually play, and with improved layouts, consistency in design is possible. In addition, this redesigning of the Xbox Home interface keeps the user's suggestions to remove ads, improve wallpapers, and option to customize. Xbox Home UI   However, the above changes are not enough to address all the issues, but there are some more months before the launch to make more modifications.  Krislov adds, "We want to ensure this experience is the best it can be, and we know getting it right will take some time which is why we will be rolling it out slowly and iterating throughout the process." "With your input, we're looking forward to launching this new, better Home experience in 2023." iPhone screen is customizable along with movable apps, widgets, and games, then why not add similar features in the Xbox Home UI, like pinning the apps and games with an option to remove the tiles?
