Apple Music brought Dolby Atmos spatial audio to its devices last year, including iPhones, Macs, HomePods, and Apple TV. In a statement made today, it will come to automobiles for the first time. According to sources, Mercedes-Benz and Apple Music collaborated to provide spatial audio to some of its vehicles. Additionally, Dolby Atmos will power this and it has been added to the Maybach, S-Class, and electric vehicles like the EQS and EQE models. However, to take advantage of this, you must pay an additional $4,550 for a 3D Burmester sound system or $6,730 for a 4D Burmester sound system in addition to the vehicle's base price. Furthermore, drivers will enjoy a more immersive listening experience and higher sound quality as a result of this expansion. Oliver Schusser, Vice President of Apple Music and Beats, expressed his enthusiasm for what the two businesses will provide to their customers via Apple's Newsroom. Together with Mercedes-Benz, we now have even more opportunities to bring wholly immersive music to our subscribers all over the world." More Details Mercedes-Benz added that this collaboration with Apple Music is crucial, particularly in light of the fact that many musicians and recording artists already judge a new mix of a tune based on how it sounds when played in a car. According to the corporation, this new capability sets "the benchmark for music production and playback quality." In addition, some of the songs that enable this experience have labels in the Apple Music app. According to numerous sources, this will be the first time Apple Music is expanding to a different industry since introducing spatial audio last year. Additionally, all Apple Music subscribers have free access to spatial audio and lossless streaming. Therefore, in 2023, Windows users will be able to download desktop versions of Apple TV and Apple Music from the Microsoft Store. In addition, Apple currently only advises PC users to utilize a web browser to access these platforms (tv.apple.com and music.apple.com). Also, as part of the update, the Windows 11 Photos app will incorporate iCloud. However, Windows users must download iCloud Photos to merge their photos prior to the announcement of this cooperation.
