Sony wants to "grow by making Xbox smaller," states Xbox CEO Phil Spencer

Xbox CEO Phil Spencer thinks PlayStation is actively trying to maintain its "dominance" in the console market by "creating Xbox smaller," and he objects to Activision Blizzard's acquisition. Microsoft has agreed to a 10-year agreement to bring Call of Duty to Nintendo if its acquisition of Activision Blizzard goes through. If the massive $69 billion offer to buy Activision Blizzard is approved, the company will also keep releasing games on Valve's Steam platform "simultaneously to Xbox." Microsoft and Activision have previously indicated that they expect the agreement to be completed by the middle of 2023.
