YouTube intends to make it simpler for you to sub your films into different languages by assisting you with AI.
The team from Aloud, an AI-powered dubbing service from Google's Area 120 incubator, will be joining the company, the company revealed Thursday at VidCon.
The artificial intelligence (AI)-powered dubbing tool will make it simpler for producers to subtitle their movies in different languages, according to
YouTube.
The website for Aloud describes how it functions as follows. The tool initially transcribes your video, providing you with a transcription that you may review and change. The dub is then produced after translation.

Additionally, the report claims that Aloud would eventually support other languages. However, spokesperson Jessica Gibby states that Aloud is presently only available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
As more creators add multi-language dubs to their videos, Aloud may still be a helpful tool despite its limited language support.
According to a statement from Amjad Hanif, Vice President of Creator Products at
YouTube, the tool is already being tested by "hundreds" of creators on the video-sharing platform.
Hanif added that "more to come" in addition to the "few" languages that Aloud now supports.
YouTube is eventually "working to make translated audio tracks sound like the creator's voice, with more expression, and with lip sync," according to Hanif. According to Gibby, those features are scheduled for 2024.
Meanwhile, the video-sharing website had previously announced in February that it was introducing multi-language audio track functionality, enabling producers to subtitle both new and old videos in several languages.
